Ich war sehr begeistert von der Atmosphäre und dem welnessbereich. Was mir nicht so ganz gefallen hat war die Sauberkeit auf dem zimmer, staub kalk an wasserhähnen. Sonst im grosen und ganzen würde ich dort wieder einchecken.

Checkin und Checkout von freundlichen Personal top. Das Zimmer bietet genügend Platz. Auch auf Sauberkeit wird geachtet. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das Bad wartet mit Marmorfliesen auf. Etwas unbequem für ältere Menschen ist die Badewanne, welche als Dusche fungiert. Die Brause war sauber und sorgt für genügend Wasser beim Duschen. Das Zimmer zur Stadtseite bietet einen schönen Blick auf die Altstadt. Diese ist in 10 min Fussweg erreichbar, welche zum Shoppen, Sightseeing und mit Cafés und Restaurants zum verweilen einlädt. Der Hauptbahnhof ist ebenfalls in 10min zu Fuss zu erreichen. Leider ist der Parkplatz nicht im Preis inbegriffen und es entstehen 24€ Tageskosten extra. Alles in allem ust The Westin Leipzig absolut zu empfehlen.

Wir haben ein „Upgrade“ erhalten. Das sah so aus, dass wir ein durch eine Tür mit dem Nachbarzimmer verbundenen Raum hatten. Es war wirklich jedes kleine Geräusch von nebenan zu hören. Man kann das wirklich nicht machen, so ein Zimmer wissentlich zu vermieten, v.a. wenn die Auslastung gering ist. Der gegenüber des Zimmers gelegene laute Fahrstuhl ist auch nicht als upgrade- Kriterium zu werten. Sonst war alles okay…

Unclean room, worn out furniture with dirt marks. King size bed is actually two adjacent beds. not worth the deluxe room upgrade… Breakfast didn’t even have orange juice (the fancy computerized machine dispensed tainted water only because the OJ syrup (!) container was empty) When we notified staff, the eventually just turned off the option on the machine. I had to ask three times for orange juice, after they had been claiming twice that they had no other option than the syrup machine. we finally got good orange juice from the kitchen… Not worth paying $25 each for this experience. The pool is nice and relatively warm.

Das The Westin würde ich wieder buchen und auch weiter empfehlen. Das Zimmer war sauber. Der Empfang war freundlich. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Parken ist (nicht ganz billig) direkt am Haus möglich. Einziger Kritikpunkt war das Bad. Die Wannenarmaturen waren verrostet und der Brauseschlauch war undicht. Ansonsten war auch das Bad sauber.
