"I booked (2) rooms, with (2) Queen Beds. We checked in, and BOTH rooms had (1) King bed each. What's the point of making a reservation two months in advance?!? I went back down to the desk, and the best she could do was to find (1) room with two queen beds. That was it. No discount, no credit, Nothing. Is Hotels.com at fault, or Holiday Inn? Not Happy. "

"I enjoyed both the location and the charm of the Hood River Hotel. As the hotel is over a hundred years old it's layout and amenities brought out feelings in me from a bygone era!
The breakfast that I had was delightful with a hearty selection on the menu and it was tasty!
Unfortunately, trying to get a morning cup of coffee in my room was impossible as trying to brew a cup was a challenge that 'bested' me!
Finally, the broken roller switches on the electric cords to the wall mounted lamps, on each side of the bed, worried me as the building is old and the egress window would have been difficult to use in an emergency.
The staff were very helpful and they were polite!
All in all I would enjoy staying in the hotel again!

"We enjoyed our cabin stay. There is a kitchenette, refrigerator, shower, heat, A/C in the cabin. (The description online didn't capture all the amenities.) Having some tea and hot cocoa provided along with firewood was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable. This was a glamping experience - good for a couple. No space for more than 2 people. We would recommend and return!"
