An absolute gem

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel facilities and surroundings are beautiful - We are frequent travelers and have been to many hotels, including all around Italy, but this is a very special place and we will be back! We loved the views of the sea, modern and clean room, proximity to the port, well-appointed private terrace for guests to use, and incredible views + delicious food/cocktails from the on-site bar and restaurant. We stayed in the comfort room with partial sea view and our only comment is that the shower was tiny - not enough of an inconvenience to ask that we switch rooms, but we would book/request a different room next time. A few tips if you stay here: -Get the dark chocolate (fondente) gelato at the bar; the best we’ve had! -Be sure to pack your water shoes, the entry to the sea is rocky so we were glad we had ours! -The nearest port is Rinella (which is smaller but more charming than the other Salina port of Santa Marina); if you plan to book a guided boat tour to other islands, Glentor is the only one we inquired with that picks up from Rinella (but they were excellent!)

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel di Rinella consci che ci saremmo trovati in una zona lontana da caos e in cui si può godere della parte più selvaggia dell’isola cullati dal suono del mare..l’hotel ristrutturato è fornito di tutto, e in più la cordialità e piccole attenzioni ti fanno godere ancor di più del soggiorno. Siamo giunti in anticipo rispetto all’orario del check-in ma la stanza era già pronta e a disposizione e in più ci è stata offerta una gradita colazione, e la scelta è ampia: dal dolce al salato, la buonissima granita al mandarino, le spremute fresche, le torte soffici e profumate servite da ragazzi sorridenti e garbati, educati e professionali. Stanza ampia vista mare, ben insonorizzata con cassaforte, frigo, phon (non giocattolo), bagno con finestra, bidet, kit di cortesia..letto grande e comodo e scelta di guanciali. Nel frigo acqua a disposizione degli ospiti. Anche la nostra cagnolona è stata accolta: a sua disposizione cuscinone per dormire e ciotole. Fuori un solarium e attraverso scale e passerella si arriva direttamente al mare, ovviamente facendo attenzione ai sassi e forniti di scarpe da scoglio. Cosa apprezzata visto che c’è divieto d’accesso ai cani nella spiaggia di Rinella. Anche fuori frigo con acqua, macchinetta del caffè, infuso freddo con arancia e aromi, biscottini. Ci siamo sentiti coccolati. Unico neo è il ristorante convenzionato che, seppur buono, non all’altezza dell’hotel che è superlativo.
