“The room was pretty cold on arrival, but soon worked out how to get the heating on.Staff were very helpful and managed to sort out my booking, that Expedia failed to notify the hotel, so they were not expecting me.The room was aa bit outdated,and not very soundproof, the 7 lane bypass was very noisy during the night,even with the window closed.”

“Easy check in procedure door code gets you into the building and room. Spacious room with modern kitchen and bathroom, well stocked tea/coffee etc and good hot water supply. Warm rooms and well stocked towels and bedding , only drawback is due to its location you get some noise and guests turning up at stupid o'clock in the morning. On the whole if you can get this for a good price its well worth it ”

“Good sized room, very centrally located next to shops, restaurants, and transport. The hotel is a little dated but it was very clean. The staff were all lovely and really make you feel welcomed.”

“Breakfast food could do with being hotter and have some way of warming the breakfast plates. Eating luke warm food on a cold breakfast plate is unpleasent. ”

“Room was ok . Dull dark decor and v small television. Table light worked but wonky and carpet threadbare in some areas . Clean . Check in was not very welcoming , lady seemed rushed and no pleasantries . Asked for more milk which didn’t get . Meal in the evening was good . Sticky toffee sauce was more like weak caramel. Decided not to stay the night so returned home so can’t comment on breakfast. Staff serving meal v good . ”

“Parking at an extra charge, with no signage to show the cost. On arrival staff to a while to show up and check us in. The check out staff were instantly on hand though, checked we were happy with everything. Only one chair in the room, for two people.”

“The room wasnt very clean in bottom draw was a empty whiskey bottle and the windows had mould around them At evening we had our meal on the 1st course which was soup there was a bit of plastic found in it the staff couldnt apogise enough but didnt really make me enjoy rest of my tea leaving it ”

“The breakfast food was spot on Fresh tomatoes ,fresh mushrooms, Eggs cooked just as i asked soft yoke, a perfect selection of sundries, The evening meal, was excellent, with a very varied menu to suit all tastes, The Irish coffee i asked for was very bitter, so much so i actually could not taste the whiskey. Another major downside was the tedious matter of having to que up at the bar to order food, , Table service ordering has been stopped, I found this bizarre for a hotel to adopt this...
