Loved the Villa Shelley! Stunning views, perfect stay! Anna was a delightful hostess. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The focaccia was homemade and amazing.

Un lieu magique.

Un lieu magique empreint d'histoire. Une vue magnifique sur la mer en prenant le petit déjeuner. Un accueil très chaleureux par une dame qui parle très bien le français. Nous avions du mal à repartir tellement que nous y étions bien!

Un luogo davvero unico e indimenticabile: la struttura, l'arredamento elegante e raffinato, la terrazza davanti al mare, il giardino sul retro immerso in una vegetazione rigogliosa e, non da ultimo, la storia che si respira in ogni angolo e che ti trasporta nel mondo delle persone famose che l'hanno abitata, immaginando Percy Shelley e la moglie, Mary, che qui hanno vissuto, scritto e composto le loro opere letterarie. La cortesia e disponibilità di Emanuela, che gestisce la villa, inoltre contribuiscono a rendere il soggiorno ancora più piacevole con suggerimenti per escursioni, cene o informazioni riguardanti la storia del luogo. Da non dimenticare anche Anna, che ogni mattina sorprende gli ospiti con colazioni deliziose e torte fatte in casa da gustare sulla magnifica terrazza. Sono stata qui con mia madre, e toneremo sicuramente per farci trasportare ancora dalla bellezza ed eleganza di questo luogo.

Quando Shelley non basta

La camera non rispecchia la descrizione che si legge al momento della prenotazione. Gli unici elettrodomestici presenti sono un bollitore ed una macchinetta del caffè. Nel bagno, posto in cima ad una scala pericolosa,non si rinviene la vasca ad immersione totale ma una piccola doccia con una striminzita tendina. Vogliamo parlare del letto? Dormire su una tavola di legno sarebbe stato meglio. Per questo il sonno non è stato sereno. E quando mi svegliavo venivo avvolta dalla puzza di umido proveniente dalla vicina nicchia in cui era posizionato un vetusto divano. L’affaccio principale non è sul giardino. A completare il quadro è na colazione decisamente misera con le bevute fai da te poste al piano di sotto. Per tutti questi motivi non comprendo le recensioni positive. Forse i recensori non sono stati nella stanza 101

Gli ambienti di questo edificio storico hanno un fascino particolare. La terrazza regala uno scorcio incantevole sulla baia si San Terenzo. Molto comodo il parcheggio.

Meget sjarmerende lite hotel med sjel og en spennende historie. Personalet var meget hjelpsomme og hyggelige uansett hva vi spurte om hjelp til (booking av restauranter, tips om aktiviteter, steder å besøke med reisetips. De var meget godt orientert om hva som skjer i området. Som alltid har Italia litt annen standard på rom og renhold men det var helt ok. Hotellet ligger så og si rett på stranden og i et område hvor man opplever det autentiske Italia, det var ikke mange turister der fra andre land. Litt vanskelig å få bord på restauranter så pass på å forhåndsbooke, det hjelper hotellet med. Folk var meget vennlige i byen og det er et fint område.Anbefales

小高い丘の上に佇むヴィラでの滞在は大変満足のいくものでした。よく整備された広大な庭へと続く屋外での夕食は素晴らしく、わざわざ食事のためだけにミラノから車を飛ばして行く価値があると感じました。アウトレットのセラヴァッレ まで車で7,8分で至極便利。近くにはゴルフ場やワイナリーもあるので、ショッピングの出来るリゾートホテルとしての利用価値大です。

Romanticismo allo stato assoluto

Una vita vera può dirsi pienamente tale solo quando arricchita ed impreziosita da forti emozioni. Per questo amo viaggiare ed ho attraversato oltre 70 nazioni, sempre alla ricerca di quel qualcosa in più che possa trasformarsi poi al ritorno in un ricordo meraviglioso. Bene, non credo di esagerare se affermo che soggiornare nella camera che un tempo appartenne a Shelley sia un'esperienza memorabile ed assolutamente indimenticabile. Se siete romantici nel senso più vero del termine, se adorate i poeti dell'Ottocento, e se quando vi trovate di fronte ai dipinti di Turner vi dimenticate del tempo, se quanto di più nobile ed elevato alberga nel vostro animo, allora non potete rinunciare a trascorrere almeno una notte a Villa Shelley. Ho soggiornato in questo luogo incantevole in compagnia della mia ragazza e questi momenti rimarranno per sempre impressi indelebilmente nel mio cuore. Villa Shelley non si può descrivere, Villa Shelley va semplicemente vissuta. La stanza dei primi dell'Ottocento con gli arredi e i candelabri dell'epoca, la terrazza praticamente privata con la vista sul golfo. Emozioni uniche ed impagabili impossibili da trovare altrove.

La struttura è davvero speciale: gli arredi, l'atmosfera, la terrazza vista mare e il silenzioso giardino sul retro (perfetto per un riposo pomeridiano all'ombra delle palme!) hanno reso il mio soggiorno molto piacevole. Emanuela, che gestisce la struttura, è stata molto disponibile: con gentilezza e competenza ha risposto a tutte le mie domande (soprattutto sui celebri inquilini della villa) e la sua passione per questo posto magico traspare in ogni parola. Tornerò!

Hotel di Charme

Hotel di charme sul lungo mare di San Terenzo. Villa dei coniugi, scrittori, Percey e Marey Shelley durante la loro villeggiatura nel golfo dei poeti, oggi la location é adibita ad hotel, con 4 sole camere, tutte pero’ di grande comfort e arredamento nello stile liberty originale; come il resto della villa-hotel, con i suoi grandi saloni finemente decorati ed arredati, e il suo bellissimo giardino interno. Anche il personale dell’hotel contribuisce a fermare nel suo tempo questa bellissima location, che proprio per questo emana uno charme di altri tempi, che ben si adatta a questo magnifico angolo di liguria. Peccato per il servizio di colazione al mattino: che stride con la nobilta’ della location e non viene assicurato con la dovuta professionalita’ dal vicino Bar Giardino, cui la location appunto si appoggia per il servizio colazione.
