Bout St. Maurice is a ski town in the winter and a hiking/ biking town in the summer.My wife says this is one of the best areas we have ever seen and thinks the motel is the best as well. "Kamer perfect. Ideaal om in het centrum van Bourg St Maurice te verblijven. Alles op wandelafstand (station, funiculaire). Ik kende het hotel van vroeger (ik kom er al 30 jaar) en de recente verbouwing is upgrade !!!"

Quick to the train station, only a few minutes away and not far from the funicular (which, if you're skiing runs before the ski lifts so from the hotel you can still get first lifts onto your mountain). "Hotel décevant vu le prix. La chambre était vieille, peinture abîmée, équipement vétuste... La cage d'escalier sentait l'urine, la propreté laisse à désirer en général. Le personnel était cependant aimable et attentif, et le petit déjeûner correct. Mais pour 200€ la nuit, on s'attendait vraiment à mieux, surtout que les photos ne reflètent pas du tout la chambre où nous avons dormi..."
