"Perfectly located for the Marina and to walk to the local cafes and restuarants. The staff were so helpful, accommodating, especially providing a 24hr reception. Clean and comfy rooms. The electric shutters didnt work reliably in my room but couldn't fault anything else. Would stay again. "

"Just pulling out La Ferme des Mares, a charming establishment that provides everything except showers and an apology or discount for providing showers. Should you decide to visit, my advice is that you check the hot water before accepting the keys so that you don't have the unhappy experience of discovering an ice cold shower upon waking the next morning. And no one at the reception to assist you until 8:30 AM when you need to check out."

"We chose and confirmed a room that specified a view of the harbor. This was not a request; this was the description of the room. When we checked in we were told that a harbor view room was not available.Our room had a view of only the backs of some old buildings. In addition. there was a large support column in the middle of the room combined with a sloping ceiling that blocked access to the right side of the bed."

Les Moitiers-d'Allonne (Manche) Entre les caps de Carteret et celui du Rozel, s'étale, sur 400 hectares, le puissant massif dunaire d'Hatainville. Il s'élève à 86 mètres en recouvrant d'anciennes falaises vieilles de plus de 70000 ans. Les sables des dunes d’Hatainville s’appuient sur une falaise fossile de grès et de schistes. Cette formation de « dunes perchées », dont certaines culminent à 80 m, est l’une des plus spectaculaires d’Europe. Elle est née, notamment, de la remontée progressive du niveau marin après la dernière glaciation, voici 12 000 ans. Le massif dunaire présente une grande diversité : des dunes basses ou hautes (culminant à 86 m !), sèches ou humides (25 hectares de mares et de dépressions inondables), dunes vives (dont les formes ne sont pas stabilisées faute de végétation) et dunes blanches (presque sans couverture végétale), dunes grises (couvertes de végétation basse) et landes. Diversité qui s’accompagne d’une richesse de la faune(triton crêté, crapaud calamite...) et de la flore (oeillet de France, gentiane amère, pyrole à feuilles rondes, littorelle...) "Hôtel très bien situé. A quelques pas de la plage et d’une grande piste cyclable. Le personnel est fort sympathique, très bon accueil. La chambre était identique au photo. Très propre. Le petit déjeuner était top. Il y en avait pour tous les goûts. Seul petit bémol : dommage que les chambres ne soient pas équipés de ventilateurs. Également la vue de notre chambre donnant sur l’immeuble d’en face Nous retiendrons que le meilleur et vous conseillons d’y séjourner "

"Hotel 67 is really a block of about 30 rooms within the Gleneagle hotel. The brutalist/minimalist decor of the room (exposed concrete and wire conduits etc) may not be for everybody, and is not aging well. Our window (overlooking a roof with noise AC units) was broken an difficult to close. That being said, the bars and restaurants and other facilities of the Gleneagle hotel are great, and the room was very comfortable. Having a boxed breakfast delivered to the room may be an unusual choice, but the quality of the food was good and we found it convenient."

"We stayed 4 nights at this location. It was very quiet, spotlessly clean and very pretty. Our hosts couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Breakfast was an overall pleasant experience with some home made goodies. Fell in love with the family pet dog Talie. Would definitely stay here again 👍"
