The room was nice apart from the bathroom which was for a disabled person washing my face and teeth were virtually impossible as i am 5foot 9 told reception and they said the only thing they could do was to down grade the room 😡. Then i ordered breakfast in bef for 9 which did not come had to phone about it they then brought it at 10 an hour late cold and horrible. Then on checkout they tried to charge for 2 breakfasts when I only ordered 1 terrible service would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel is very outdated the staff are slow to serve and clean tables as i had to ask them to clean mine.

The hotel and room were very nice. Lots of hot water. Wedding on premise-fire door banging super loud all night. Seems like they could be on soft close or something. Phone did not work, so I had to get fully dressed and go to the front desk to get wifi help. Way way too many light switches all through the room! 5 min of flipping switches to get a reading light. TV did not work at all.

Shower in room would not produce hot water, staff attempted to fix, left shower tray dirty from their shoes when they left. Moved room - second room not quiet with noise from plant nearby. Moved again, now in room 3 - shower temperature ok for my partner, only lukewarm when I showered (and nowhere near 38degreC max temp as mixer indicates). At breakfast time I wished to bring breakfast to my room, asked several staff and all said this was fine, when I asked another staff member for a tray they refused saying there was a tray service, making me make saver trips with what I could carry each time.

Not overly impressed with our room at all.

Our shower was broken, the beds are very uncomfortable. I’m not sure if we would book to stay again. We felt like the room was very dated and not as nice as the rest of the hotel? Very odd for the price and the style of the hotel. We were not overly impressed with our room at all.

Food was ok, not a great selection, asked for a plain ham toasted sandwich, it had to be returned twice before they got it right. Breakfast plates were cold, but aleast the food was warm! As long as you didnt look to carefully all appearances are grand, but they are having a refurbishment at the momment so can be quite noisy during the day. Bedding needs updating and tidied menu also nedds to take into account that not all people like sauces etc
