"Sahara was an excellent property if you'd like a hotel that's on the strip but a bit removed from the high energy hustle and bustle. We chose the Sahara because we knew it had been recently renovated and it felt very fresh and current compared to other properties we visited on the Strip. We stayed in the Mara tower and the rooms were comfortable and fairly clean. The restaurants on the property were good and priced on par with other restaurants on the Strip. Having direct access to the monorail was a huge perk, too. No self check-in kiosks, but the line moves quick if you arrive a few hours after check-in begins. We'd happily stay here again!"

"The rooms deadbolt did not work, which was sketchy. I reserved 2 rooms and asked for the same floor. We could not be further apart, but were on the same floor. It would have been quicker to take elevator. We did not eat there this time, but had the steak restaurant in the past and it has always been good, nothing spectacular. You get what you pay for I guess."
