"We had a beautiful room of the bay. The marina is also a great view, so you can't go wrong either way. I found the property very clean in fact we saw people cleaning at all hours. It was extremely peaceful to come back and sit at the restaurant or by the pool and look out at the marina. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had no problems in our trip. I would book here again, it's a nice oasis away from the hustle of the city. "

"This hotel was absolutely breathtaking, upon checking in I had thee best service from the front desk clerks. When walking into our room we noticed the showers had mildew in the corners, and our balcony was not clean. I walked to the front desk and the girls were so helpful and got us into a new room. The new room was bit cleaner but still not what I expected from a 4 star Sheraton. The second room also had mildew around showers, behind the bed where the headboard rest was filthy and filled with dust. Although my stay here was enjoyable and delightful, I think the housekeeping needs to be reviewed. "

"Had a great time at Humphreys! The property was beautiful and well kept - we even had the surprise of finding the tropical birds. The location was also great, quiet island with views of San Diego, yet a close drive to being downtown, sunset cliffs, and La Jolla. Two minor notes, we upgraded to a suite and the bed was right by the door and not by the balcony, we would’ve enjoyed laying in bed and looking out at the marina and tropical plants. Additionally, this layout kept us close to the hall and both nights we were woken up to people loudly talking as they walked through the hotel halls. The other minor thing was housekeeping was late enough each day, where we respectfully had to decline, as we were gone all day and when we got back at 4, that’s when they were going to start cleaning our room. We were still able to get fresh towels but it was disappointing on the timing. Overall would stay again! "

"Everything was good except for breakfast and check in timing. I understand standard checkin is around 4 PM but we get early checkin almost all the time (even with additional fee). But checkin was quite late for us in that regard"

"The location is very beautiful. The property sits on the water and has great views. The rooms are good size. The food was just ok, the location of the restaurant and bar are again very pretty . We waited 40 minutes one night to get some bread and a salad. We kept getting other people’s orders that we had to redirect . Overall a nice place but we didn’t get housekeeping one day for no reason . The hotel is disorganized and under staffed . The servers were all very friendly but frazzled as well ."

"The website says pets are ok for a fee but on arrival we were told no pets. They did let us stay because of the website stating pets are ok. The rooms are very run down and in need of a serious refurbish. Very stinky carpet. Its basically a bare bone hotel that needs updating. "
