El vuelo tubo un retraso por lo cual llegamos a la 1:00am, el taxi del aeropuerto nos llevo hasta el lugar pero la zona se observaba muy insegura y peligrosa, llegamos al hostal pero todo estaba cerrado y decidimos mejor irnos a otro hotel en una zona más segura.

très bien pour un transit

Nous avons passé une nuit en attendant notre vol du lendemain. parfait pour un transit. chambre un peu petite pour plusieurs jours. super petit déjeuner. proche aéroport.

Después de una tarde caótica en la cual me habían cancelado mi reserva en otro hostal, fue una bendición llegar aquí, excelente trato por parte del personal y fueron muy amables en todo momento, incluso me ofrecieron un servicio de taxis ya que vuelo salía de madrugada, lo recomiendo ampliamente

Sorta close to the airport but a bit sketchy

We only spent one night here - an extended layover before flying on from Lima to Cusco. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy - our cab driver from the airport didn’t think we were making a good decision to go there. But the hostel itself was clean and comfortable and the staff helpful and welcoming. We slept through breakfast but the outdoor courtyard looked very nice.

Close location to the airport and the sea

Friendly helpful staff offering to organise taxi from and to the airport, order meal delivery service, and change $ to local currency for convenience. I’m highly recommending

Nice little place in the blue collar burbs.

Nice little hotel. The area was a little rough and in a more industrial are of the hamlet. The main tourist areas are some distance from the hotel but the bus system is great and I did discover a strip of restaurants and shops just east of the location. There were many inexpensive restaurants between the garages and building supply shops to the west. Certainly an area to be aware of your surroundings but most of the locals were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was rather no frills but that should be obvious at the price. The main staff did not speak any English but there was one gentleman whom they would call on who was extremely helpful, "thank you Victor." I definitely enjoyed my stay.

Didn't Bother Staying

The taxi driver drove me and my friend who had just arrived at the airport, and first I thought the area was a little sketchy but gave it the benefit of the doubt because most neighborhoods close to airports aren't the best. Then we get there, and there are no lights on and nothing to indicate it's a hostel. My friend starts walking to the door and before she gets to it, a guy opens the door and asks if we're staying there. The taxi driver then pulled me aside and said, "are you sure you want to stay here?" We said no, and he drove us about 5 minutes further to a much more comforting hostel.

Mauvaise expérience

L'hôtel offre un service de navette à l'aéroport. Nous avons attendu le taxi plus d'une heure à l'aéroport. Problème d'eau chaude, ça pris plus d'une heure pour en avoir. La chambre coutait 45 $ US., il n'avait pas de change pour un billet de 100$. Il voulait prendre ma carte de crédit mais, il n'a pas le terminal. Chambre très petite.

Not a good stay at all

The room was really small, and for some reason the bed made us so itchy that we couldn't sleep for a long time. After a few hours of sleep some women from the hostel started talking so loud in the early morning that we had to wake up. They also gave us slightly ripped bills that nobody would accept, and we had to argue with them for 10 minutes to change the bills.

We stayed here because it was inexpensive and close to the airport. The room was very small and we had to put our baggage on the floor, because there was nowhere else to put it. The toilet did not have a seat, and there was some mold in the shower. It is not a place that you want to spend more than one night.

Convenable entre 2 avions

Hôtel qui convient pour une nuit de passage entre deux avions. Le conducteur du taxi qui a fait le transfert entre l'aéroport et l'hôtel n'était pas vraiment aimable mais après tout ce n'est pas ce qu'on lui demande et nous avons bien été déposé en temps et en heure. A l'inverse nous avons eu un très bon accueil à l'hôtel. La chambre n'était pas très sécurisée (fenêtre cassée donnant sur le couloir).

Basic, no frills accommodation

We needed a cheap place, near the airport, to spend the night before an early morning flight, and Hostal Las Fresas fit the bill. For the $45, I wasn't expecting anything more, but it's very basic. We arrived late on a Sunday evening and there were no places to get dinner from within walking distance, the person on duty spoke no English, the computer /credit card machine was broken so we had to pay in cash, our room was on the 3rd floor with no elevator, etc. But, the room was exactly like the picture, it was really inexpensive, and it was 5 minutes from the airport (although it took 15 minutes to return during traffic the next morning). The breakfast included fresh made scrambled eggs, which was a nice touch. We arranged roundtrip taxi (to/from airport) via the Hostal, and the airport to hostal ride was fine, but in the morning they arrived 15 minutes later than requested which was a little stressful with a flight to catch
