“Booked room for 3 nights. After 2 we were told we would have to move rooms due to an over booking. We had to check out of our room for 11 and our new room wouldn't be ready until 3pm. So we were without a room during the day. The hotel has recently been taken over and is now geared to families with children and our room was next to an adventure play park which was very noisy from 8am to 9:30 pm. “Would have expected air con or a fan in a four star hotel. Also my room next to an area where people were chatting very loudly - not very pleasant. It should be marked as a quiet area.”

“There is no electric code nearby bed.”

“Nice hotel. Free parking. Stayed as a family in 2 double-rooms as no family rooms available due to a footbacll competition in town. Rooms were very large and good beds. Parking was free which is always good. Staff very friendly. Booked breakfast upon check-in and a very good price (£24 for a family of 4). Good breakfast too. Would definately recommend this place.”

“Lovely hotel in a regenerated area of the city. Good facilities. Only things that need improvement are staff customer service- waiters and waitresses are either young and clearly doing summer jobs or older staff where English is not their first language and I found either things asked for did not show up or staff didn’t understand. Also an electric charger for EV/ hybrid vehicles would be welcome.”
