“Amazing views and walks around the hotel. Basic room in need of modernisation. Beds were very comfortable. No curtains or blinds on the window! Toilet was broken on arrival but was fixed within the hour and offered a drink on the house which is nice. Staff very helpful and friendly. You can see the property is undergoing some work so understandable.”

“Rooms were nice and clean but we had an annoying noise coming from an air vent inside a wardrobe that drove us wild, made them aware and they attempted a bodge to cover it up but it still persisted and spoiled our sleep. The only other complaint is when we were dining a family with young children had been eating beside us and the kids had food on the floor, due to the hot weather there were a lot of flies about and they were congrigating around the food on the floor. “A grand hotel in the countryside, it's a shame the state it's in now. The carpet is worn out in place's, the game's room is a complete mess and the hotel smells damp & musty. The dining room is grand and well maintained, the food is pretty good. The staff are friendly and helpful.”
