Overall, it was a nice place with close proximity to things to do and right on the beach. A great view and a comfy room! I was disappointed in the fireplace not working - maintenance visited my room multiple times and was unable to resolve the problem during my stay.

Our room and overall stay were okay. I’m sure the property has much better rooms with full views, but we booked at the last minute and took what was available.

We were pleasantly surprised at what great location and hotel this was. It was nicely updated. And had great beach access. It was very affordable and has family friendly rooms. We appreciate that they don't allow pets or smoking. The one thing that was a negative is that there is no AC/Heat. It is all by fan in window or electric fireplace. So it can get stuffy fast. But it was still a great place and we will return.

Clean and cozy. There are lots of stairs with no elevator option and steep stairs to access the beach. The beach itself is a really nice long stretch so great for long walks. There’s no grocery or restaurant options on the beachfront road so you have to go up to the 101 for that

I booked a girls weekend getaway for a belated birthday gift for a friend, actually I booked their neighbor hotel (beach front manor) but there was some maintenance problem with the room I booked so they moved us to the starfish manor. I loved the hotel room, the room was super cozy with beach decor and also had a cute little electric fireplace heater to keep you warm at night. The beach access is super close and easy to access by foot, but it is by stairs at the neighboring hotel. The staff is wonderful at the front desk to check in/out and help with any other needs. Close enough to downtown & other surrounding area's to check out. A wonderful place to stay for any occasion, even if you don't get a beach front room.

It was very relaxing. The room was clean and cozy. We had a perfect view of the ocean. The tub was clean and ready for us to use. The room came with a little patio with chairs and a side table to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. I was happy to spend my Christmas there.
