“We had a very warm informative welcome. The room was at the back which helped it be quieter when the private parties could be loud when they were on in the function room. It looks as if some updating is happening and needs new window frames and closers. The bed was comfy. Hospitality tray was great. In the bar the staff were great. “Room was really spacious and quiet, with an enormous comfy bed. Good selection of teas in the room. Bicycles were locked away. Really good selection for cooked breakfast. “Oldy-worldy charm in a converted attic, complete with a copper tub (separate from the bathroom). The only (minor) downside is the narrow, steep staircase to two of the rooms which might be troublesome for some people. Excellent 5-star breakfast.”
