Gloria’s is like an oasis. A clean, well run B+B, and Gloria and her staff were always there to top up your cold, fresh juice, or give you a ride to town if they were going that way.

We had a great stay at Gloria's. The staff are wonderful. Comfortable room, great breakfast. Gloria is very helpful with any questions you may have. This is the best value in Livingstone. Highly recommended

Gloria's is great. There was a few things that didn't work or took a little to get to be functional, but don't let that overshadow the care and energy that goes into the property, the service, the food and the overall vibe. Gloria is stellar, I had a solid breakfast on my porch in pretty superb weather. It is a little bit of a walk to town but I felt safe and had a great time!

Friendly staff. Nice area around small pool. Worst fixed breakfast. Charmless rooms. Clean. Economical basic choice. It's OK if you want a low cost basic place to stay while you're out and about.

Wouldn’t recommend ! They don’t honor bookings!

Pros: property itself is cute. Room are on a smaller side but clean. Hot water . Swimming pool . Quiet. Cons: Keep in mind it’s a small family business where the whole family including kids work there . internet is terrible. 99% of the time it didn’t work. We used ours . TV never worked . It said on a screen time to recharge and it was never recharged . There is no restaurant . It’s just a kitchen and if you want to eat late at night you have to go to town. While I was resting on a pool lounge a heavy metal umbrella stand almost crashed my head . It was held in a floor by a bunch of bricks but it obviously was not enough to hold heavy metal umbrella stand . None of the staff even came up to me and asked if I am ok. I doubt they didn’t hear a very loud crushing noise . Upon check in staff were confused and didn’t know that we even booked the place . We had to wait until they reached Gloria . Next day we talked with Gloria’s daughter and arranged with her 2 more days of stay as all hotels were occupied because of many conferences and the president visit in town. Gloria said she doesn’t have credit card machine and she needs cash only. We only had cash for one day . We said we will pay for second day as soon as we returned from our dinner cruise . We came back around 10 pm only to find out that room was apparently booked 2 weeks ago and we can’t have it . When I went online there were actualy 3 rooms available . Disappointing! Very disorganized!

Gloria’s B&B is a wonderful example of Zambian hospitality. Gloria did everything a host would do and more to make sure I was comfortable and had a great stay. I would highly recommend it. Her price is very reasonable.

The property is in outdated condition and needs remodeling. Water was leaking, toilet would not always flush, there were far too few plug-ins and overall environment around the complex, including the water in the swimming pool were not the cleanest.

Gloria and her staff are extremely accomodating. The grounds and the pool are impecable. Breakfast was simple and amazingly served at a choice of where I wanted to be served. The dining room, my room patio or poolside. Gloria checked in twice if we needed anything. The rooms are extremely comfortable and well equipped. I have already recommended it to my family and friends

Perfect for peaceful stay, lovely host family that made a solo traveler feel at home! Young daughter is charming co-co-hostess! Normal challenges with electricity and wi-fi as are found in multi-star hotels in region. Hosts worked hard to fill the gaps! Look forward to a second stay here in Zambia, easier Chobe trip logistics. Definitely get the 30 day Multiple entry visa at airport on entry. Try to do souvenir shopping in Zambia. For better prices and visit the Livingstone Museum

Great stay with character

Gloria was so accommodating and great, from the food to arranging airport transportation. The place is quiet and with character in a residential area of Livingstone, and nice hot showers. The only thing less than stellar was a neighbor must have been burning trash one morning. I would stay again!
