“We stayed here one night as a last minute getaway from the heat back home . The property was spotless and everything was so thoughtful , so many personal touches showing the care they take with their guests . They went above and beyond when I had an issue with my car charging and drove me all the way to it, which would have cost £50 in a taxi. My children loved the animals on site and the owners were very patient answering all their questions ! Thank you so much for your kindness !”

Hotel felt tired ,lacking attention to detail ie curtain rail was falling of the wall and soap dispenser over sink did not work . Overall OK for one night but we wouldn’t want to stay any longer .”

“Very friendly staff. Our room was in the main building up more stairs from the entrance. We were on the top floor. He took my suitcase and carried it up 4 flights of stairs. Lovely family room with fantastic views. The bath was wonderful! Complimentary waters daily and biscuits topped up. Rooms can be serviced daily. “This is a great little family-run place, super central to the train station and ferry port. The family who owns it also cooks up Vietnamese dinners, and honestly, it was the best Vietnamese food we've ever tasted. Highly recommend a stay here!”

“Be careful if booking on Expedia! It clearly states a double room can sleep 3, when actually it’s just 2! I booked thinking there must be a pull out bed but unfortunately there isn’t. “Shower was poor. Some of the rooms are being renovated but we were in a room that hadn’t been so decor & bathroom tiles were in a poor state. There was no where to hang clothes. The staff were very friendly & polite”
