"What a wonderful hotel, made extra special by the amazing staff. From the lovely welcome by Callum and Nathan on to any and everyone who made the stay personal, professional and caring. Great room, wonderful feeling of wales, and little touches like rocking chair. Perfect breakfast with both buffet and à la cart, and walking distance from anything you want. Thank you! We’ll be back."

"Room was a bit small but very comfortable. Nice pub/restaurant next door,bit expensive but very tasty food. Hotel staff friendly,easy free parking. Looks like this used to be a premier inn site. Would definitely stay here again."

"Very kind, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was great. There is no parking on site or even that close, but the staff helped us unload and load our luggage in the little alley and the car park was about a 5 minute walk -- not too bad. The spa had a few issues with scheduling for us, but they resolved the issues. Overall a very lovely hotel that I highly recommend! Look forward to returning!"

"So close but quiet at night to city center castle , river and more and very close to train and bus station. Compact but efficient , would skip the breakfast as a Weatherspoon is across the street w better value. Engaged staff even threaded a needle for me to put on a button."

"The room was clean and comfortable. Good sized bathroom with bath and shower. Pleasant, helpful staff. Free parking was a bonus. The restaurant was a nice place to eat, but vegetarian menu is too limited. There was only one vegetarian main on the menu. As we were staying for 2 nights, we needed to go somewhere else to eat on the second night."
