Amazing deal on a great little place with loads of character. Can be a bit noisy at night and well into the night as its quite central and its a holiday city but what do you expect? We really enjoyed the place.

The hotel was built in 1902 and was pristinely maintained-it was like walking into history. The lovely garden and fountain, pool and outdoor patio were beautiful. It was a pleasure to stay in such a lovely hotel. The staff went above and beyond and were very kind. The breakfast buffet was excellent. I will be back-it was wonderful!!

Nice hotel with good location

The hotel was old, but everything was working and fine. The staff was super friendly and helpfull. The breakfast was good. The pool area really nice. The rooms were a bit outdated, but clean and with everything you need. The hotel was located perfectly close to the center and the beach. I can recommend staying here.

My stay was good, a little noisy on two nights, but it was out on the street, room nice bed comfortable, shower good, staff very helpful, breakfast fresh orange juice, decent coffee, choice’s not great, scrambled eggs were warm but never hot as We like it, would stay again as the price was fair for our stay.

This could be a lovely hotel. However, bedroom corridor carpets were disgustingly dirty and covered in stains. No English breakfast tea in breakfast room unless purchased from the bar, although all other flavoured teas and coffees were available and included in price. This along with the overall hotel presentation needs to be reviewed. Aside from this, it has to be said that the staff are really very nice and friendly.

Deceptive advertising......

Adverts are deceptive and mainly feature the deluxe rooms giving one the false impression that all the rooms are of the same standard. Our room was a basic 1-2 star quality. to get to room from elevator one had to climb four stairs and then cross to the other building and down more stairs. The lock on the door could have been broken with a screwdriver - very unsafe. The TV was the size of a computer monitor and the max volume was barely adequate. On positive side the pool was nice, breakfast OK and Carlota the bartender was excellent!

It was a cheap hotel, everything was pretty basic, but very outdated. You can't lock the doors at all which we found a little weird. It was rather clean, only we found haira on the toilet seat when we firat entered the bathroom so it wasn't ours. The bathroom facilities are really outdated, the bedding is pretty old and eventhough they were clean gave a used/old/dirty impression. The room smelled nice though. The terrace wasn't usable at all, the terrace floor was at a serious angle. Breakfast was very good, alot of different options and very tasty. The hotel lists they have parking available, but we couldn't book that in advance and when we arrived we were told it's only 12 spaces and it was full, so we had to park a little further down the road at 30 euros/day.

Lovely little hotel, comfy bed, nice breakfast. Staff was super lovely, the pool had nice shade. It could do with a facelift but it was a nice quiet spot in the middle of town, few minutes from restaurants, bus station, the beach. Would love to visit again.

The hotel was close to the beach and restaurants. The lady at the reception - I'm so sorry I don't recall her name, but she has been working there for 20 years - was SO lovely and gave me tips and ideas about what to do in the area. The hotel was spotless and clean - and it was just what I needed for a relaxing holiday.
