“Clean, spacious rooms with nice views. Good car parking. Generally well organised. The dog-friendly room came with dog beds and dog towels which were thoughtful/ useful additions.
For a dog-friendly hotel some aspects weren't very dog friendly eg not allowed to leave dogs in room alone but also they weren't allowed in the breakfast room either. We were therefore shown to the bar area to have our breakfast but this wasn't ideal/welcoming. Breakfast was nice with good selection.

“The rooms were very hot, the windows were open but still didn’t help with ventilation. The heating system seemed to be on as the pipes were hot. It was very uncomfortable in the room. We eventually asked the front desk for a fan, which they gave us off the front desk.
The picture of the bedroom they sent with my receipt, was definitely not the room were given. The beds were smaller.
Killin is a lovely town and we enjoyed our time there, just a little disappointed with accommodation”
“Parking was tricky. There is a car park but it was full. Therefore I angled my car in the middle of the car park, then got up really early to move it again.
The staff are lovely.

I went to the bar for a nightcap. It was nearly empty. I was served my drink in a dirty glass. There was no ice left in the bucket. The member of staff showed no intention of going for more ice. It was a poor end to the day”
