Welsh Harp. The Brent is damned just before Blackbird Hill and the resulting reservoir is said to resemble a Welsh Harp in shape. The buildings in the background are part of the controversial 'Hendon Waterside' development. Nearest station: Hendon.
St. John the Evangelist, West Hendon, near to Hendon, Barnet, Great Britain. An Anglican church located on the end of Algernon Road, next to Vicarage Road. The church unusually has no windows on the north side and I suspect that the intention was to add a second aisle to match the one on the south side at a later date. You can get a clearer view of the south aisle in John Salmon's <a href="https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/341310">TQ2288 : St John the Evangelist, Algernon Road, London NW4</a>.

Hendon Park Footpath following the Northern Line between Shirehall Lane and Queen's Road. The area on the right seems to have set aside for a small copse. Several people were out and about with their dogs, but it wasn't the nicest day for walkies!

The check-in is a little weird having 2 receptionists in a self-check-in place. Also my booking was cancelled with no notice, but they did reinstate it - fortunately. The hotel and room is central and low cost - it had all you really need. No frills.
