“We had a great time at Rectory Manor, a lovely old georgian country house set in mature garden of trees and lawn with a swimming pool and tennis court if you want some exercise. Our room (the Hudson) was furnished in the country house style and was supremely comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit small and slightly dated. The bath was too small to properly soak. On the plus side we had an unexpected balcony that caught the morning sun whilst giving beautiful country views...

“Liked that it had EV charging. Very peaceful and owners were very welcoming and friendly. Delicious scrambled eggs in the morning made by Cliff using eggs from their chickens. comfortable bed and great shower. Very clean with nice touches such as shampoo/conditioner and shower gel and chocolate wafers with the tea/coffee making facilities. excellant value ”

“Excellent accommodation in an old building, loved the slopey floors and low ceilings. Luxury bathroom with bath and spacious shower. Great location, had a lovely meal in the Angel a 2 minute walk away, proper pub! Hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent! Overall fantastic place to stay”

“What an amazing location, set in the middle of an expanse of fields my as I drove down the road that leads to the mill there were rabbits, deer and pheasants scattering in front of the car. The gardens and pond are beautiful and the room perfectly clean and the mill has been renovated to an incredibly high standard. An early breakfast of home made bread with coffee watching the sun rise over a unbroken vista of fields not another house in sight. I found the mill by accident when traveling for...
