โComfortable room with excellent tea making supplies - and a good sized mug each! The floor fan was useful as it was very warm. The hotel kindly allowed a later check out with a prompt and polite response to our request. Check in was efficient and simple. The evening meal was superb - great value and the pavlova! Wow! Chefโs kiss! All in all - a beautiful historic building and a really enjoyable stay. We will return I am sure. โ

The staff were nice and friendly.
The only downside was that the parking facilities were quite limited and the space was always tight.โ

โWe stayed here due to a wedding at nearby Bruisyard. It was a lovely stay and I couldnโt fault it, a beautiful setting full of nature and a very well preserved property. Liz was very accommodating allowing us to drop our luggage and car off earlier than check in; we also came down to a very very nice breakfast with something for everyone. โ
โSo pleased I found this little gem. Lovely team of people, so cheerful, friendly, hardy, and welcoming, they obviously loved their jobs. My room felt fresh, was tastefully decorated, with a spacious en-suite, super comfortable king sized bed, and stable doors that opened out to a couple of steps down to my own terrace area.
I wish I was staying longer. โ
โI was disappointed that there was no communal dining area.
I had two friends, who were staying at the same time.
It would have been nice, to have our breakfast together.

โWe loved this short stay with our extended family. Very well equipped and something for everyone, young and old. Very clean, loads of space and lots of facilities. Loved the enclosed paddock area for the dog and some good walks nearby. The outdoor seating areas are excellent. It would have been good to know in advance that there wasn't a cafetiere in the kitchen or shower gel in the bathrooms especially as the place was so well stocked but this is a simple update of the property details. ...
