“Matfen Hall really is outstanding, my stay was faultless. All staff were so warm, welcoming and helpful- I was greeted upon arrival with a welcome drink and my bags were taken up to my room whilst I checked in and relaxed in the Great Hall. Every nook and cranny of this hotel is gorgeous, beautifully crafted and fabulously furnished, including the room I was allocated. “Fantastic stay. Stayed for a wedding. Staff really welcoming and friendly throughout. Slightly difficult to find our room, but was lovely when we got into it. We struggled to keep the room cool, but we loved the big bed and huge bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic too. Scenery amazing. Would definitely stay again”
