“Room was clean overall but smoke smell was overwhelming. Instant headache and the odor lingered on us and our belongings afterwards. Room had been painted but extremely outdated and had a scary movie vibe”

“Helpful staff, the two rooms we booked were clean and one of our favorite part is the beach view. You have the option to rent s kayak to explore. The hotel is only 15 minutes from AC and 45 minutes from Cape May. Plenty of parking space, this is our second time we stayed in hotel in Pleasantville to save money from AC and Cape May and we have not been dissatisfied so far. Will come back to stay again.”

“Extremely pleasant and relaxed feeling staying in a Bed & Breakfast that has so much history, (from 1799). We found ourselves imagining what it was like living in that era. and appreciated the architecture and interior decorating style. We loved the “Honor System” and felt safe staying there. “We checked in at 4:30 around and check in was supposed to be at 3pm but our room was not ready and the systems where down. We could not get out keys until the next day and the staff had to walk us up to the room. The breakfast was terrible. The waffles kept getting burned and did not have a lot of breakfast foods to choose from. Our room was big and that was a plus and there is this one cleaning lady that was so sweet and nice. I had a thing on my door to not bother us we did not need cleaning...

“This hotel is a wonderful throwback in time. Such a great example of what it would have been like vacationing in AC decades ago. It has old charm with update bathrooms and showers with old themed hardware. No elevator. The room and the overall property was very clean everywhere. As staff was very good. So many antique pieces. Little noisy but it's AC and if your doing it right you won't notice LOL. Overall a great stay. A bonus is the Chelsea pub right next door, open late with food. Such a nice...
