"The hotel is rather small (a very good thing for me!), but the room I had was large and the bathroom too. It was modern and very clean, with A/C. It was called Mallus and had a French door to the street which meant I had to have the blind down all the time for privacy, really the only drawback to it all. The property itself is visually spectacular, offering stunning, postcard ready views from every corner - whether lounging by the pool, dining at the restaurant, or relaxing on your hotel room balcony. The self guided audio walking tours around the vast estate were fantastic, allowing us to discover the historic vineyards at our own pace while stretching our legs. The on site wine tasting was a true highlight, while also having access to a scenic river boat tour right from the estate’s private dock on the river was incredibly convenient.
