"Office & lounge is adorable & the people that work here are all super kind & sweet & accomodating. Would stay here again. That being said, my first impression wasn't good. First, they gave us a room directly next to somebody else, facing the street, on the 1st floor, when there appeared to be MANY rooms available on the first & second floor. We didn't need to be right on top of each other - zero privacy. Loud location too. Second, the trim around the door is all peeling, it doesn't go with how clean & neat everything else else. The room appeared clean, but we had to rush out right away for a wedding. When we returned at 10:00 pm, our neighbors were fighting & screaming at each other. Rather than wait it out, I went to the front desk & she immediatley switched us to a room on the 2nd floor - no questions asked:) Thankfully, we hadn't had time to unpack yet so it was a quick & easy move. Our room on the 2nd floor wasn't quite as clean. Our sheets had stains, the tub drain was filled with clogged hair & soap & the rubber shower curtain looked like it had never been cleaned. If you can't take it off & wash it once a week, it shouldn't be in a motel. Blech. Every time it touched me I shuddered. We chose this property because of the pool, which was great but it could also have used a quick vacuum before the day started. A lot of dead leaves on the bottom, that hadn't just fallen that day. Water was clear & clean though and lots of chairs - plenty of space for everyone. xoxo"
