Wonderful hotel

Wonderful hotel, friendly, helpful staff. The room was spacious and bright, comfortable bed and good bathroom, I am not too fond of shower curtains and prefer a shower screen or cubicle. The room had a lovely balcony with view of the gardens and pool. Unfortunately the weather wasn't warm enough to use the pool. Breakfast was delicious, fresh local bread, fruit salad, fresh figs, yoghurt, cheese, ham, croissants, juice, tea and coffee served in a cosy dining room. We loved our stay and only wish that it was longer. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel in a lovely location

Check in only open until 6.30pm and as we were arriving later than this we had to contact the hotel to arrange a late check in. They rung us back within 5 minutes of leaving a message and assured us all would be fine. Keys were left for us so our arrival was incredibly smooth, they had even left us a lovely note and some biscuits to welcome us which we felt was a very thoughtful touch. The room was very spacious with a kitchen area with appliances, a lounge, bathroom and bedroom as well as balconies. There was an outdoor swimming pool but time and weather didn’t allow us to use it. The beds were comfortable and the was powerful, two things which matter in our opinion. The host was very attentive and couldn’t have been more friendly. It is located in a beautiful little town within the mountains so could be a great base for exploring. The only flaw in this otherwise lovely property was the decor was slightly outdated, but for everything else it’s worth looking past that.
