The food could have been better, even though it looked tempting in the menu, the taste needed improvement. โ
โPerfect location with easy access to parking, our room was exactly as advertised clean and comfy. we had dinner at the bar and it was delicious. The staff was very friendly and inviting. The area is very quiet at night so that was awesome because we got plenty of rest. Definitely recommend to stay a night or two. โ
โA really lovely hotel in a magnificent village. Very friendly and professional staff . Nice large well presented room . Great continental breakfast included free, great selection. The area is astounding. We took a boat trip to Garnish Island,15 mins . Basking seals on the way and a truly beautiful island that had been gifted to the nation by a man who created a remarkable paradise.Glengarriff goes straight to number one in my favourite places .โ
โA lovely stay - wish I'd had more time there. Loved the cosy reception area with the open fires, esp since it was lashing rain outside. Room very comfortable and quiet with soft lighting and black out curtains.โ
โIncredible hotel and wonderful staff! Beautiful evening at their restaurant as well as the food was excellent.
Only frustration is that our room did not have air conditioning. Only some rooms have AC but our door opened which allowed plenty of air flow from outside.โ
โLovely hotel right in the middle of Bantry, staff is always forthcoming and very helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean, the view over the harbour just beautiful. Definitely recommend, coming back here again as always - my top hotel when I visit Bantry.โ
