However, we encounter road roads on the way to hotel, and need to transfer to scooters instead. "The staff was very helpful. Hotel was located quite close to the town Centre, but now directly at its heart. There is a street of massage outlets on the way to the hotel, so you can have a late night massage. The hotel staff is unable to help book a transfer from Hanoi, so you have to do it yourself. Although it is rated 4 star, the facilities do not live up to expectations. I would rate it 3 star (international standards), but I it is quite a plush hotel by Vietnam standards. "

"Amazing Hotel Sapa is a very comfortable, spacious hotel close to the center of Sapa town, with spectacular views overlooking the terraced rice fields and surrounding mountains. Breakfast was very good. The only downside for us -- though this may be true for all of the hotels in town -- is that the narrow streets of Sapa have become choked with traffic, which made it occasionally difficult to arrange pickup at the hotel entrance."
