Comfy place

My 5th stay was for 5 days as I really like this cozy little place. The entrance is especially nice with soft sofas and great view. I just sat and relaxed and looked outside.

nous avons bien dormi pendant 2 nuits, rien de grave a signalé, les couvertures sont d epoques,la literie spartiate mais la douche bien vigorante , evacuation a revoir, pas de parking !! nous devons trouver une place, premier arrivé premier servi .

Simple basic accommodation. The couple who runs in are very helpful and very approachable. Clean and tidy place to visit Loudres. Within easy walking distance to the pilgrimaged church.

A ducha não tinha um suporte e a água tinha muita pressão. Muito difícil de se tomar banho, sem molhar o banheiro todo. Sem local para colocar o sabonete. Quarto cheirando a urina, por causa do carpete. Tem banheira mas não se pode utilizar pois não tem tampa. Eu já tinha pago antecipadamente o quarto. Fui cobrado no check in e achando que eu não tinha pago, paguei outra vez. No outro dia é que percebi o erro e pedi meu dinheiro de volta. Se não tivesse percebido, tinha ficado no prejuízo.

Pour un séjour du 11 au 15 août

L'hôtel n'est pas loin à pied de la gare de Lourdes dix à quinze minutes environ. Il n'est pas loin de l'artère principale bordée de boutiques qui mène au sanctuaire. J'étais heureuse d'être seule pour une fois, dans ma chambre, merci. Ma chambre comportait une salle de bain à l'intérieur. Le salon et les salles à manger sont jolis. Il y avait des lambris dans ma chambre et un portrait de Bernadette. Il y a un ascenseur. Le petit déjeuner était bon et nourrissant pour cinq euros. On peut déjeuner et souper si on veut. Je garderais un très bon souvenir de ce séjour. Merci.

I wouldn’t stay here again. When we arrived, I think the owners were in the middle of a serious discussion because the lady was super mean and rude to us. It’s close to the place of worship, 10 minute walk but there are many other hotels nearby. The neighborhood is very shady and didn’t feel very safe. We went during the off season and many hotels and restaurants were closed. Do not add on the breakfast. You can walk down the street and get better at the corner cafe. Breakfast was literally a piece of bread, a crossiant, and a cup to fill with coffee.

The rudest management I have ever met

The lady manager was so rude. Like she scream when I had to asked for a milk or creamer as it was not on the table. I arrived an hour before breakfast is over and she said “ breakfast starts early”I apologized and said I had to take shower, pray etc before having breakfast and besides it’s an hour before closing. She just gave me an attitude. I just kept quiet. But when she raised her voice when I asked if she can give me. A little milk or creamer, she replied “ you know I have to walk all the way to the kitchen to get that, you should ask me when I asked if u want coffee or tea!!!” I still replied in a calm voice “calm down, don’t start, it’s my birthday and I planned to have a good day as always” she didn’t say sorry so I explain her this is the first time I have met a staff or management with this response. And I left and went to church and was bless to have met a lovely couple. She was even surprise to see me on my last night. She thought I checked out already so I had to show my receipt from Expedia. Earlier, There was a dad and son customers who look at me, shook their heads and said horrible place. I’m posting this concern so for her to change and let her know that travelers are aware and bad attitude is a big negative impact into the business and the city itself. By the way, the croissant is hard, was sitting on the table for hours and not even on a plate. Lot of nicer, cheaper hotels much closer to the shrine. Room is way too small.Will post pictures.
