Upon arrival and throughout our stay, Mandarin's hotel staff exceeded our expectations. There is plenty to do on the premises and the food was excellent. "This is an exquisite place. The rooms are magnificent, the view to die for. Unfortunately we chose a weekend when there was a private event on which rather spoiled the 'get away from it all feeling'. Happily for anyone reading this, I think private events are rare but do check before booking"

"Outstanding staff. I didn't really need help with anything, but I saw they were helping many other guests with myriad transport issues. Oh, and compliments to the chef! It's not a convenient walk to downtown/beach, but they offer free shuttles back and forth roughly every 2-4 hours. "
