"Desk staff was nice, efficient. A housekeeper had just cleaned it, was friendly and offered help if we needed anything. It was too late when we realized we only had one towel for two adults (oh, and the empty shampoo and conditioner bottles were still in the shower). The property is very close to the interstate beside a Waffle House where we ended up getting coffee. The complimentary breakfast consisted of stale danishes and bruised bananas. There are a Circle K, new Race Trac and Love’s very close by and a handful of restaurants within a few miles. The property could use work. I booked a non smoking room but under the strong cleaning agent smell could smell cigarette smoke odor. It could have been coming thru the ventilation or maybe the rooms have just held the odor. The room was very humid when we arrived and it took awhile for the floors to dry and for the room to get comfortable. The sink, toilet and shower were updated so that was great to find. The bed was on the firm side but comfortable with clean linens. The tv signal was bad despite the dish just outside the door. No USB ports and one nightstand and bedside outlet. The property does weekly and monthly rentals,appears to be the permanent home of a number of people with cars in various states of disrepair. It gave us some pause when we had to leave the property after dark as some of the “residents” were hanging around outside. Doors open to outside so expect noise from vehicles cranking early am, headlights…"
