“The check in was fine but thereafter we were on our own. The shower drain was clogged and it became difficult to use without water overflowing on to the floor area. The part time receptionist was lovely and helpful with recommendations but after her shift no one was at the site. Street parking was not available and we had to pay extra for the hotel lot. The air conditioning did not work well as we could not adjust the temperature. The location, like everything in Lucca was fine.”

“Good value, comfortable stay 12 minute walk from Lucca station and an easy walk into the city. We had a spacious, very comfortable room with aircon. Breakfast was good enough to get the day started. The rooms are fundamentally inside a converted apartment on the third floor of an apartment block. There is an elevator. Access was interesting.
