We were in this beautiful villa for only 1 night, we had a great experience, the accommodations were worth the price, the staff was helpful and the distance to Lucca by car was not far at all. The breakfast was delicious and check-in out was quick.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa San Michel in Lucca’s countryside. The setting was peaceful and beautiful, and the staff made everything easy. Linda at the front desk was especially helpful, from calling taxis to offering great local advice. Breakfast was another highlight, with excellent cappuccino and espresso included, plus fresh pastry, eggs, and a nice variety of food. We’d happily return and recommend Villa Saint Michel to anyone visiting the area. The dinner restaurant was also a highlight featuring Tuscan foods and wine.

The villa it’s a beautiful place in Toscana to stay and relax , the pool is the best feature of the hotel. In the lobby the is a bar where you can order apperitivo, and the restaurant face a the beautiful garden. Food was excellent but pricey.

Lovely hotel with a beautiful pool area. The restaurant was closed for a function the night we stayed which made us a little worried it would be loud, but we weren’t disturbed at all. Even better, we walked to a local restaurant (bit of a hairy road crossing) on the hotels recommendation, which was wonderful and saw the most beautiful fireflies all around us on our walk back!

Our room was beautiful with a high vaulted painted ceiling. I think we had the Executive Suite. The grounds and the pool was lovely and the included breakfast was delicious. I wish we could have stayed a few more nights here.

Lovely house in nice grounds with a very nice swimming pool Breakfast was good with decent choice of items Very good shower with decent pressure Staff very nice & helpful Car park is a little small, if you come back late you will need to park up on the grassed area as people using the restaurant take up the car park.

Gorgeous grounds and pool, decent sized rooms and more modern than the photos look, but the walls are paper thin, you can hear everything your room neighbors say and it was so hot in the room, apparently they don’t turn the AC on until May, so we didn’t sleep well.

We had to scramble to book this reservation the day or our stay because our VRBO cancelled our reservation. We couldn't have been happier. We had a great stay! The people were awesome! The Italian villa feel to the place was great, and the breakfast was amazing! We only had one night in Lucca, but wished we could have spent more time there, and in this amazing hotel.

Amazing location. Wonderful building. Rooms are old fashioned but a good size. Shower had the scale build up that so many have but otherwise cleanliness was good. Breakfast was VERY good.

Very elegant accommodations in a very elegant setting. Villa San Michele is everything an Italian villa should be! The building is timeless and the interior is glamorous. The entire staff is welcoming, professional, and friendly!! The wine list is extensive, the food is as imaginative as it is delicious! Very convenient to Lucca and Pisa. Plenty of on-site parking. Too cool to enjoy the pool, but the setting was lovely.

Lovely villa with outstanding staff, a fantastic breakfast, and an excellent "outdoor" (glass-enclosed, heated, and probably cooled in summer) restaurant looking into the gardens. Too early in the season for the pool. All-in-all a thoroughly delightful time.

Lovely memories.

From the moment of arrival to leaving, we were thoroughly looked after. Amazing team of staff, all extremely accommodating. Wonderful food in the restaurant and a delicious breakfast. Very comfortable bed and efficient air conditioning in room. Beautiful pool with plenty of space and loungers. If you don’t mind a short walk down the road to the bus stop, there are regular buses to Lucca (number 54), and not so regular to Pisa (E3).

The villa is in a quiet village outside of Lucca, ideally to get around you would need a car. We only stayed one night so got taxis to and from the hotel. The staff were all lovely and went above and beyond. The food in the restaurant is fantastic and reasonably priced. The rooms are big and airy. The garden and pool are beautiful and it is in a quiet peaceful and relaxing location surrounded by mountains and trees. We would highly recommend staying here if you would like a relaxing tranquil place to stay

Beautiful 15th century villa , with manicured grounds . Restaurant was excellent, but rather expensive . Bfst was excellent. 4 km out of Lucca on Busy highway , so couldnt walk into town . Partially offset by a bus route appropriately 600 meters from property. Enjoyed walks in the countryside. Loved our stay overall !!
