Absolutely charming property within the walled city of Lucca! Staff are so nice and accommodating. Onsite restaurant Antica Osteria is a must when staying at the hotel. Amazing location and fantastic property. Reasonable rate that was totally worth it. Loved our stay.

As advertised, nice clean and staff was friendly and helpful The restaurant in the hotel wasn’t anything exceptional the best dinning experience that we had was just one piazza away “Nona Clara”. Quaint town to relax in.

Great hotel in a great location. The WiFi was impossible to get onto and the staff made it out to be our fault. They said it was my American phone. This was my 6th place that I stayed on this trip and I hadn’t had a problem until this hotel. And, after getting in a heated discussion with the clerk, I didn’t feel like I could ask about anything for the rest of our stay. Not very welcoming.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. Room 23 was spacious with a high ceiling and an enormous bathroom. There were large windows but no view due to the location of the room, this didn’t detract too much from the ambience though.

Amazing weekend in Lucca. First visit and The Tuscanian was an excellent choice; room was clean, nice size and tastefully decorated, with everything we needed and more. Staff extremely welcoming and helpful with things to see and do in Lucca. Would highly recommend.

Staff was extremely customer-centric and had a bag of breakfast AND Lunch ready for us in the early morning before everyone was even up (4:30am) or working on Breakfast. Wonderful experience and our room was very ample. And we had a perfect view of the river and the other side during sun-set!! Perfect location!

The Tuscanian is a nice hotel in the middle of amazing Lucca. Quite spacious room. For a fee they also parked our car and brought it when we needed it. Totally recommended for a short stay in Lucca.

Lovely upscale hotel in the heart of the walled city. Only disappointment was not having good coffee (there was instant in the room) in the room or lobby/bar available early and late. Would definitely recommend this clean and well appointed hotel.

We arrived late at night. Front desk was so welcoming and helpful with our bags and parking. Room was very spacious. Location is perfect. Central and easy to get too. Highly recommend. I didn’t eat there so don’t have feedback about the restaurant.

Great, location in the walled city, walk to everything, no car needed, friendly, helpful staff. Adjacent, in-house restaurant (Antica Osteria) was excellent, although there should be a hostess station for entering the restaurant from the hotel. Customers have to enter through the middle of a busy dining room and awkwardly wait for someone to notice them and then find them a table. Otherwise, very glad to have stayed there.

Only a one night stay. Our room was compact but well equipped, stylish and spotlessly clean. Location is great for exploring the city. We had to checkout early to catch a flight which resulted in a bit of a mix up but I have to say the resolution was excellent. No hesitation in recommending the Tuscanian and I will certainly be back hopefully with a little more time to spend in the city

I love this hotel…The Tuscanian Hotel is a touch of elegance, friendliness and sophistication in the heart of romantic Lucca. We stayed for five nights and then extended for 3 more. Beautiful suite, comfortable bed, fabulous bathroom and all the little extras that make staying in upmarket boutique hotel memorable. There is a gorgeous restaurant with a delicious menu; a relaxed breakfast room with a varied and tasty array of home baked breakfast treats; a comfortable lounge area to relax and enjoy a glass of wine in… but the magic of The Tuscanian is the wonderful staff - Michaela in the breakfast room greeted us every morning with a smile. She made the best coffee and ensured we were well looked after. She made us feel ‘at home’… Elani also went the extra mile and helped us resolve the complex challenges of the Italian rail booking system! Lucca is magic and well worth an extended stay. The Tuscanian Hotel made our 8 night stay one of our best holiday journeys ever!
