We loved staying at Hotel Schlüssel. Great location- walkable to shops, restaurants, bus, train and boats! It was especially nice to have the complimentary beverages. Our only regret was the restaurant was not open on Sunday and Monday. But our desserts on Saturday were delicious.

No staff, self check-in. Bathroom walls needed washing. Only 1 hand towel. Theres a coffee machine on the 3rd floor that we found on our 3rd day (some signage pointing us to it would have saved us a 10 minute walk every mor ing for coffee). Bed was good, location was great.

I didn't realize this place is not staffed, so that was our only issue when arriving at 10am after an overnight flight with no place to store luggage. A really helpful guy at the plant store next door told us there would be a code to let us in, etc., but with no one to talk to and no way to call due to our limited data plan, it took us awhile to figure it out. If you need to store luggage, there's a luggage storage place inside a jewelry store just a few min walk away (look up Radical Storage) so we were able to get on with exploring the city. Once we came back to check in later in the afternoon, someone from the restaurant let us in and helped us with check-in, so when staff are around, they were helpful! Room itself was clean, comfortable and spacious. Fans available on request but would be nice to just have one in the room since staff isn't always available. We only stayed one night and didn't eat at the restaurant but it looked nice. If you know what you're getting, this place is totally fine! It's on me for not reading closely enough when I booked it.

We never came in contact with a hotel staff member, so there was no one to ask questions if needed. The location was fantastic, but very noisy both late into the evening and early morning. The room was clean and comfortable, other than the noise keeping you up late and waking you up early.

Great location. I loved the room and all the extras—clean room and comfortable bed. Luzern is a tourist city, so why doesn’t the hotel use English? I received 5–6 emails from you, and I couldn’t understand any of them. The self check-in system doesn’t work. We were three different guests, and all of us had to call for help. Also, there’s no soundproofing from the hallway —you hear everything and get woken up constantly.

Great location. Good size room for family of 4. They provide free water bottles and soft drinks, which is great. Room did not have air conditioner and did not have good ventilation. Romm has only one window which skis did not open completely, opened only 25% due to safety I guess . They did provide 2 table fans. But that was not enough on hot summer days of our stay . It was extremely uncomfortable.
