Great Place to Stay

The property is bit old but well kept and quite spacious. I was glad to be upgraded to higher category room on a recently done up floor. The bed was very nice good for proper sleep. The only complaint I have is that although my package included one way air transport, hotel did not honor it and advised me to approach Hotels.com. which I did not know how to do.

The cleaning staff and reception were lovely, however we were told we had been "upgraded" to a better room, however the room was average at best, the toilet flush was stuck and the rooms we had were definitely not soundproof so we could hear people talking in the corridor at stupid times of the morning. I only found out on the day we were checking out that we were originally booked on the 1st floor which.had recently been refurbished as shown in the picture on the Expedia website so if anything we were downgraded by the hotel..Never going to this hotel.again . only rated 2 stars because of some of the staff

The hotel exterior and interior is beautiful. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Room was clean, comfortable and in a great condition. I stayed 2 nights. The staff was courteous and polite. Cons: 1) their credit card machines were inoperable. I have used my US based cc at various hotels and businesses in India without any issues until I tried to pay at this hotel. Luckily one of my relatives was with me to pay them through his UPI payment system. 2) the bathroom floor was made of marble stone and was slippery when wet. This floor needs to be roughened up a little to prevent slipping accident. Also, the drain must not haven been cleaned because water kept collecting while I was taking a shower and was not draining well. 3) Floors throughout the hotel are made of some sort of smooth rocks like marble or granite. When it is covered with dust, it becomes quite slippery as well.

Stayed here for a night to catch an early morning flight next day. Hotel is about 5 KM from airport. Hotel and rooms are clean and in good condition. Food in hotel's marine restaurant is good.

Hotel Piccadily lives up the name

It was an overall excellent choice for an overnight stay. The front desk was very friendly n helpful in addressing our concerns. Special thanks to Abhinav, Ajay and other staff for making special arrangements for us. The hotel is centrally located, walking distance to the nearby market. The room was the right size for a couple with a pleasant view outside.Enjoyed my time off at the Piccadily. Gurdeep.
