Would stay again!

Our stay was great! Easily located right next to old town and the train station. The manager was super nice and we had everything we needed for our stay access was a breeze. The property was very nicely decorated and the coffee was delicious.

Super clean. Excellent location within 3 mins walk of the main station. Holstentor just minutes away. Apartment had everything you'd need and was a generous size. We'd definitely return.

Lübeck Christmas Market visit

A nice, clean and comfortable hotel excellently located just five minutes walk from the railway station and 10 minutes from the city centre. Be aware that you need a smartphone/access to your email and internet in order to open your room! The optional breakfast was at a nice vegetarian cafe in the old city centre, but they don't open until 10:00! If that's not your thing then there is a nice bakery just around the corner from the hotel which opens at 07:00 each morning.

Trial and error

Really nice room with balcony, bathroom looked quite new, everything okay so far - but: the keyless entry system is a catastrophe! First it didn't work because we arrived an hour earlier than announced (better than expected traffic conditions). Had to call the service team, they arranged the access to the room. After we returned from dinner it didn't work again due to a system error. Trial and error, trial and error, trial and error ... and so on. Service hotline busy. Finally got instructions via WhatsApp how to pick up a key card from the safe in the lobby. That worked perfectly. Please Bob W. return to an old-fashioned key card system!

Be prepared for diffyculties getting to your room

The description on Hotels dot com says “reception open 24 hours” this is fake. This is a NO reception hotel. Doors at BOB W are opened from your phone and you are required to do online check-in before that works. Hotels dot com did not provide an online check-in link, and the phone number to “contact host” was invalid. And BOB W was inresponsive to requests via mail or via Hotels dot Com “contact host”. So we couldnt get in. Spent more than hour on that. I was i. A state of “we have been cheated” and was starting to look up alternatives. Extremely anoying situation. Why didnt BOB W send me the check-in link together with the welcome e-mail ? Standing in front of the hotel door was valid phone number and a friendly person helped. Once you have access it works ok, and the room itself was small but nicely renovated and clean.

What a fantastic find, perfect location, right by the Train Station and 10 min walk to the Holsten Gate. Everything we needed. Also loved the fact we could stream movies from our phone onto the TV.

We never saw any staffmembers. The doublebed turned out to be a queensize, and not big enough for my grown daughter and me :-( There were only 3 parkingplaces, and the cars parking there never mooved. don't advertice it as if there are parkingplaces to the hotel.

This is a very stylish hotel and ideal for any travel influencer. (Each room comes with a Fuji Instax camera and one free roll of film.) The property is very close to the train station and in walking distance to Lübeck old town. Parking in front of the house is limited. The rooms get really hot during the summer months due to the lack of air conditioning. Communication with property manager via text message is a bit slow. The fact that the hotel has no reception makes it feel a bit impersonal.

Neu renoviertes Hotel, sehr schick man fühlt sich direkt wohl! Lage ist für Lübeck super, um die Altstadt zu besuchen und vor allem wenn man mit dem Zug anreist perfekt. Alles komplett digital und kontaktloser Check-In sowie Türöffnung, also ohne Smartphone geht hier nichts. Dafür umso schneller und einfacher beim ein- und auschecken. Wenn möglich sollte man ein Zimmer nach hinten nehmen, denn nach vorne ist es schon etwas lauter durch die Bahnhofumgebung. Preis-Leistung aber top wir kommen wieder!

Es war nur für eine Nacht, daher kann ich keine Angaben zur Küche machen. Eingang sehr schön, leider etwas unpraktisch mit nem schweren Koffer die Treppen rauf. Zimmer war wie auf den Bildern. Das Bad etwas eng und teilweise unpraktisch, dafür stylisch (: Leider schaute ich auf den Park und damit den Junkies zu (sind auch am Tag dort) und gleichzeitig hätte ich gerne gelüftet, da es leider nicht gut roch bei der Ankunft. Wäre auf jeden Fall bereit dem nochmal eine Chance zu geben, wenn es ein günstigeres Angebot gibt. Kommunikation mit den Leuten (nur online) war top.

Sehr durchdachter Check-in und Check-out und Annehmlichkeiten während des Aufenthalts (Wasserkocher, Yogamatte auf dem Zimmer, hübsche und saubere Zimmer etc.). Toll fand ich, dass man vor An- und Abreise den Koffer einstellen kann. Und ich bin super dankbar, dass ich am Anreisetag noch über den Customer Support problemlos ein Zimmer vom Erdgeschoss auf eine andere Etage habe umbuchen können. Außer, dass ich die Schlüssel-App etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig fand (Button halten, während man die NFC-Fläche gegen das elektronische Türschloss hält und kurz warten; wenn man das weiß, funktioniert alles super), fand ich Bob W als Stadthotel sehr lohnenswert und toll. Danke!
