Wir hatten einen Zwischenstopp auf den Weg in den Süden. Sehr netter Gastgeber, alles problemlos und eine sehr leckere Pizza und entspannten Abend. Frühstück war ebenso gut und ausreichend. Den Abend haben wir noch für ein Eis in Lugano am See genutzt, parken im Parkplatz vom Schauspielhaus war ideal.

The owner, Antonio, makes the stay at his property a joy. He is so sweet and genuine - so please make sure you get the opportunity to chat with him! He sat down to breakfast with our family and even made us a special treat of his father’s recipe. The room was specious and the beds were comfortable (one was firm, one was soft, so something for everyone). There was a heatwave and the air conditioning did a great job of keeping the room cool. We wish we could have had dinner there as well, but the restaurant was closed due to a staff event elsewhere. On-site parking was very convenient. Our only addition would have been an extra blanket on the bed under the air conditioner. =)

Mountain retreat!

Antonio was a friendly and fun host! The room was large and well equipped. The hotel food was amazing and one of the best pizzas we had during our 3 country trip! 5 min drive to Lugano downtown, but the scenery at the hotel is amazing.

Very nice stay and good time at Ombrone's

We stayed there for many nights and were completely satiesfied: The hotel is privately run and and the owner is very nice and eager to help the guests with every concern: tours, advices etc. The rooms are newly renovated and are equipped with modern furniture. There is also air conditioning in the room. The hotel also has a really good restaurant and from the terrace you have a nice view to the mountains. We really enjoyed our stay at Ombrone's.
