โReceptionist Peter was truly marvelous in providing us the service. If it was not for him we would not have enjoyed nice spa and swimming pool there. Absolutely amazing service and professionalism. Will definitely come again to Helsinki, just for this hotel.โ
โValo hotel is modern, clean and in a very nice area. Saunas in the topfloor are really good, with a view over the area. Delicious breakfast with multiple warm and cold choices to get a good start for the day. โ
โGood transport links, multple tram stops near hotel and also short walk/Tram to Metro.
Room modern is excellent condition. Bedroom was in seperate are upstairs.
Only downside was mixed sauna was the same hours (to early) every day, so we could never use. โ
โThe kitchen was disgusting. All surfaces, cupboards, appliances and utensils were dirty and sticky and it was obvious that none of it had ever been properly cleaned. We have eaten out every day because of it. Also the temperature in the appartement was hot, the airconditioning / thermostate did not work.โ
