"Bed was unchanged from the previous occupant, there were hairs in the bed and an unpleasant smell from the bedding and pillows. I asked for the bedding to be changed and explained the reason why, the response and look which I got from the person at the desk was as if I shouldn't have mentioned it."

I really hope the Concordia management reads this because it's a great hotel with nice staff and a great location at a great price. But c'mon. One of the staff tried to enter my room when I was in there. (No knock, just tried to come in with a master key.) With some story about changing the chairs? One of the reasons people book hotel rooms is to have some privacy when they are traveling and this place didn't have that feeling of privacy. SO. Maybe cover up before coming out of the shower in your room? 😂"

"Very clean room, very comfortable bed. Suitably warm for winter (cold outside). Excellent breakfast. However fridge in room did not work. I know room ridges are not all that common in Europe, but almost standard in similar hotels in Europe and always in Japan. Entrance to hotel is very difficult with luggage, but I realize because of location in "old town" difficult to do anything about. "

"The hotel is small but clean and lovely. It is near the center of the city. There is no restaurant but there is an excellent breakfast. I stayed here several years ago and it was not by accident that I returned. The staff is helpful and it is generally a very comfortable place."

"Lovely clean room but missing a kettle or even a bottle of water, a bit of a miss when there appeared to be no one working behind the bar when I returned from eating out as there is no evening food service at the Lundia. There used to be coffee machines in the corridors but these have gone as well. Maybe vending machines would be a good idea?"
