Gammelt og nyt i storslået natur

Turen fra Geiranger gennem højfjeldet til Turtagrø var en stor oplevelse. Den umiddelbare skuffelse over placeringen af vores værelser og den uventede merudgift til leje af sengelinned ramte hårdt. Personalet var dog meget hjælpsomme og flinke og det lykkedes trods manglende forhåndsbestilling at få en to retters menu. Alt i alt endte vi med en god oplevelse. Med lidt ekstra opslag på nettet havde vi kunnet afstemme vores forventninger på forhånd.
Landskabet er imponerende
Det er op ad bakke fra receptionen til sveizerhytten hvor vores værelser var.

Det mest upersonlige i fjellheimen?

En alt for høy pris (kr.3770,-) på et under middels hotell. Rom og bad vitner om et enkelt sted som satser på overnatting for fotturister i fjellet. Begge deler var fullstendig nakent og upersonlig med billigste type innredning og møblering. Sengen (madrassene) var imidlertid overraskende komfortable, så vi sov godt. Middagen om kvelden (Gresskarsuppe, Reinsdyrfilet og sjokolademousse med bringebærsorbet var helt grei til en pris av kr.750,- pr.pers, men et lite glass helt ordinær Chiant til kr.160,- synes jeg var i drøyeste laget, spesielt når man kun tar kr.115,- for en Nansen VSOP Cognac. Spisesalen var like slitt og upersonlig som rommet, med en kald og intetsigende atmosfære. Siste post på programmet før vi forlot stedet Gud glemte var frokosten. Jeg hadde ikke store forhåpninger til den heller og ble ikke skuffet. Alt det nødvendigste var imidlertid der, selv om de stekte eggene var vel mye stekt og dessuten lunkne og baconet var kremert og lunkent det også. Om vi kommer tilbake? Definitivt ikke.

Flott opphold, god mat, god service, nyttige tips til topptur på ski. Sov i 6-mannsrom i sveitservillaen, helt grei pris.

Fantastisk utgangspunkt for Hurrungane

God mat, hyggelig betjening, spektakulær utsikt. Støy sent på kveld fra røyking og opphold ved hovedinngang på fremsiden når man har rom over i 2.etg og skal tidlig avgårde.

Fantastic place

Fantastic place. Spectacular surroundings and the hotel is very nice. Quality interior, aesthetically very pleasing and well thought through as well as cosy. Efficient and pleasant reception. Fantastic three course gourmet meal in the restaurant for dinner.

Høyfjells Hotell i Særklasse

Vi ankom hotellet etter kl. 23 på kvelden. En hyggelig dame ringte oss kl 22:30 og lurte på om vi var på vei, da hun skulle stenge resepsjonen kl. 00:00:-) Sengene og dyne/pute var nydelige(beste hittil på turen) Synd ikke sole skinte, men dette stedet kommer vi tilbake til:-)

Godt hotel i Coronatid.

Hotellet gav et solid inntrykk . Antallet av spritdispensere var overraskende stort. Enetående middag, frokosten var den beste på vår rundtur i Norge. Finfin service.
