The placid cathedral courtyard is a maze of arched passageways and squat buildings festooned with intricate Caucasian detail. Stepping into the courtyard feels like entering another era – gravestones bearing inscriptions in the 54 letters of the Armenian alphabet pave the floor. To climb the tower, go up the first four flights of stairs to the ticket desk. The way is clearly marked with signs in multiple languages, including English. At the desk, pay 10 hrivna and then keep climbing up, up, and up until you reach the open deck at the top of the tower. Then enjoy the view!

On my eight week world trip, this was my favourite hotel. Incredible attention to every detail, fun design aspects. Comfortable room. Loved every minute.

It's my second stay at this hotel and I just love it. There is so much attention to design detail, with everything from quirky options of messages to leave on your door for housekeeping, to local books left in your room, in case you need a good read. Everything is in top condition, and for something rated as three-star, it has everything a much more highly rated hotel delivers, including a fully stocked mini-bar. The restaurant is good and has a nice outlook. The young staff are very polite and well=spoken. I often shoose a favourite hotel in the cities I visit, but it will take something special to pull me away from this little gem. One note: it's not in the city centre, of course. It happenns to be extremely conveniently located to where I often do a little work.

A great Hotel, I have stayed there with my girlfriend for a week and I'm impressed. The rooms are stylish and not like any other Hotel. The staff is friendly and welcoming. the room service is doing a great job in keeping everything clean and refilled. Lviv is such a beautiful city and this hotel underlines its beauty. I can't wait to come back.
