"This is a quaint hotel, full of character, in a small attractive village on the west side of Dartmoor. It was particularly welcoming when we arrived in the evening, in thick fog! The bar was busy and there was a huge open fire. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the service was good. The restaurant was adorned with old pictures and photos which added to the atmosphere. On first arriving at our room, the impression was good and very cosy.
