“Surrounding special natural resources, as beautiful beach, gardan,wild forest. The lemurs come to just behind the bangarows! And owners and staff are warmly care every guest. And foods are awesome especially seafoods. We need to take a boat to reach and it's relly good excursions. I wish I would've stay longer, actually I was there only two nights. They have many tours to enjoy your stay. The transportation to the airport was 20 EUR.”

“The resort and the surrounding area represent entire Madagascar on a smaller scale. You see lemurs, chameleons, baobabs, a small village, beaches, a small tsingy... ”

“I had the unfortunate situation when my Land Cruiser broke down in the challenging roads in Madagascar. I called Expedia but they were not much help. Expedia told the only way they could cancel was for them to contact the hotel. Knowing the challenges with calls in Madagascar, I told Expedia I would call myself as I am here in the country. Sandra answered right away and after I explained my situation told me she would consult with Oliver, the property manager the next day as it was almost 10 pm....

“Famata lodge was a great stay for a couple of nights. If you are doing the RN7 and want to stay close to the airport, this place may be for you. They upgraded us from the Hemingway to the Eau-La-La which worked great for our family. Lots of sitting space. The pool is nice and relaxing. For dinner, they made vegetarian options for me that were interesting and enjoyable to eat. ”
