You need to notify people on lack of services. The property is very remote. The owner and our tour guide were excellent. Room was incredibly tiny and we were desperate for drinking water. If I were to go again or recommend this place I would suggest packing in your own drinking water

This experience was truly remarkable in every aspect. The staff and locals were beyond accommodating. The drive although far offers breathtaking views, and once you arrive it all becomes worth it. You will stay in a cozy and minimalist cabin with all of your essentials. Breakfast and the elephant feedings are included in your stay. excursions are optional and I highly recommend them because you will get more opportunities to interact with the elephants and see stellar views of Chiang Mai. 3pok resort maewang jinxiang is a family owed retreat that offers a home away from home feel.

Sook and 3Pok Resort is a good way to unplug from the world! Sook and his team are very down to earth and treats their guests as family members. They make sure you’re taken care of and always having a good time. He’s very laid back and happy to chat away about what to do around the resort. Transportation from the airport to the resort can be arranged by contacting Sook. Just note that this service has additional fee due to the distance of the resort from the airport (~1h drive up the mountain). We booked the day trek with 3Pok and it was the highlight of our stay. Being able to feed, bathe, and get up close with their elephants on the property is a very memorable experience. 3Pok is building new villas and will definitely come back to check these out when the new villas are complete.

The room itself was okay, a basic standalone hut. It wasn’t by the river, which was unclear from the photos, and another couple had the same misunderstanding. But the elephants visiting in the morning absolutely made up for it — such a special experience.

Absolutely loved staying here! The staff made the experience so much better! If you aren’t doing a rental car, just be aware that it is pretty far from the city. But would stay here again!

This hotel is perfect for back-packers. We stayed two nights and we loved it! The elephant experience in the morning was amazing for only 600 bahts. If you want to experience the outdoors, this is for you

We had to cancel our stay after we drove 3 hours and saw the condition of the property. The property was hard to find, very isolated. Could not tell if I was driving to the right spot due to the hard access. Parking lot is small (4-5 cars) in a dirt lot. You have to carry or roll your luggage up a steep driveway. Facility grounds are not well maintained. Definitely not a resort as you’d classify one. The walls of our room was just plywood, floor vinil sheet was torn. No amenities, mosquitos and ants inside of the room and bats fly right around the porch. Unfortunately we had to leave because my fiancé was having allergies from the mosquito bites. Not worth the price. Besides that the staff were very welcoming and nice. We just expected a lot more, especially from the photos. The photos are not at all like the reality.

Loved the elephants, poor/impractical room setup

Location: perched on a steep hill with narrow road that fits only 1 car, so get ready to suddenly reverse your vehicle if there's a car coming in the opposite direction, parking space is rather limited to 3-4 cars Checkin: smooth, mostly seamless, although the guy kept pushing for "extra activities" that will set you back a few thousand bahts further, if you are interested to participate in one Room: huts are nicely arranged in a safari-like manner, but the interior is VERY impractical, the provided wall plugs are blocked by the bed, so charging devices, using the water kettle, etc, would require putting those items on bed, where you will be sleeping, could not properly use & charge my laptop for example, unless I want to risk kicking it away while sleeping, wifi generally worked well, the hot shower was a hit and miss (note: this is more or less a ฿2500-ish per night room, so you'd expect a bit more). The elephant experience: was probably the only redeeming quality of this place, two elephants were brought in to the hut compound, free sugarcane slices were provided but needed to pay ฿100 for an additional basket of bananas, the two elephants were adorable, can only hope the money spent on the subpar room actually goes largely for these gentle giants. Breakfast: adequate portion, but could be more, it was sent to the room in a nice traditional basket

Polite and kind staff. Wonderful elephant feeding experience at bedside. Booked a tour that included an elephant feeding experience, walked to the river with them, bamboo rafting, and hike to waterfall with lunch.

Cet endroit est formidable pour ceux qui veulent vovre une experience unique. Esprits avantureux requis. Un peu perdu dans la nature et route sinueuse et longue pour atteindre les lieux. Pas pour les gens qui réside au Hilton.

TODO FATAL…

No os dejéis engañar por el sitio y las fotos….de verdad que no tiene nada que ver con las fotos… Puntos positivos: ✅que los elefantes vienen a desayunar contigo ✅pudimos elegir la habitación al menos…aunque todas eran iguales Puntos negativos ❌ primero y principal es que las fotos no tienen nada que ver con la realidad. Sitio descuidado, antiguo, con agujeros en las habitaciones donde entran mosquitos, baños en mal estado…. ❌comida horrorosa y también cara para la zona, ir al restaurante de la montaña, mucho mejor comida y encima con vistas ❌desayuno incluido pero te ponen arroz y huevo , con tortitas y un trozo de fruta,sin opción a elegir ❌ servicio de taxi no nos ofrecieron, pudimos llegar de milagro. A la vuelta si que ofrecen pero precios fuera de mercado… 1000bath cuando todos los taxis lo hacen por 700bath ❌actividades complementarias fuera de precio y tampoco tienen transporte gratuito. De verdad no vayáis a este hotel, mejor quedarse en el Orchid o en Chang Mai centro e ir 1 día con un grupo a hacer actividades con los animales. Hemos estado 20 días en Thailandia y con diferencia ha sido nuestro peor momento.

Magica experiencia en hotel 3 pok en Tailandoa

Perfecta ubicación en medio de la selva. El hotel cuenta con 10 cuartos a la orilla del río. La comida local excelente y el estar todo el tiempo en contacto con los elefantes es increíble. Hacen que los elefantes vayan a desayunar con uno a las cabañas lo cual es mágico. La gente super amable, hacen todo para que la experiencia sea perfecta. Todos los que atienden son familia lo que hacen que el ambiente sea cálido y humano. Recomendable al 100%
