It was very hot in Thailand while we were there and the pool was great, we spent hours around it and in it. We rented a scooter to drive around the island, Traffic was limited and we felt safe driving them around the island, Layana recommended the Turtle Beach resort for dinner and it was very good. "Great family resort! Our villa was amazing and had spectacular views! Be prepared to do a lot of uphill walking! My elderly parents used the shuttle/golf cart service each time as they were readily available to pick up and drop off all around the property. Staff were so helpful and friendly! Beware of the monkeys…my son and I lost one flip flop to the little thieves…"

"I’ve traveled all over the world, and this was the best stay I’ve ever had. They don’t let you lift a finger, even if you want to! I’ve never been so pampered in my life. The free transfer from the airport is much nicer than advertised - we had a private car with AC, free water, and their own private speedboat to the island. We didn’t carry a bag from the moment they picked us up until the moment they dropped us back off at the airport. The resort amenities are top notch, and they even upgraded us to a villa with a private pool. I am still in disbelief at how beautiful it was and everything that was included in the space… because it’s on a hill, they have buggies that bring you anywhere you want within the resort. The food and free breakfast were superior, the spa services left us in a stupor, and the convenience was incomparable. They even have their own app for you to access their services at the touch of a button, and they’re immediately responsive for any request you make. I feel spoiled and sad leaving, but will definitely be back. Book this place! "
