“Stayed here a few times / room in pavilion v small but v clean. Pavilion a v nice experience / reception and welcome and exit all great. The issue is the bar and restaurant staff who are quite off hand and inefficient- multiple missed orders for many people, no greeting, surly attitude which is a real shame and as I sat working the female worker was openly rude to her colleague about other guests and other staff members - we walked in on our last evening and the female bartender did everything...

“Amazing stay - hotel overall heritage, and condition. Warm and helpful greeting even though we booked v last minute the hotel handled it smoothly. Dinner outside at the grill was great. Residents lounge is a nice touch and breakfast the next day was also exceptional. Thank you team !”

“On arrival noticed air con not working in room spoke with Sophie on reception who said that she would get maintenance to come and sort it out. Reminded about an hour later “yes, all in hand” Went out for the evening, came back and you guessed it, not been sorted, boiling hot and not helped by being on the top floor. Building is tired, bar staff in garden serve you like they are doing you a favour. Breakfast is good and staff in there really helpful.”
