"Room and amenities are excellent for the price paid. Staff were generally nice. However, very difficult to call through to reception for anything. On hold for 30mims each time. Also stairs to rear of the property were covered in animal faeces and litter. This was reported to reception but remained for the two week stay."

"Only problem was we had checked out and 30 minutes after we checked out which was 3:30 in the morning we had left our earbuds on the nightstand. I called them and they sent security to the room and security said that item was not there which is false because it was 3:30 in the morning and no one seen us leave so I do believe that they took our item."

"From start to finish our stay at the Marriott Grand Vista was terrible. Checking in was very difficult because Marriott had our name wrong on reservation. It took almost an hour to check in. Then we were told we had to pay $30 per day for parking. Our room was 3330 was dark and dingy. But check in said it was overlooking the lake with a very pretty view however the trees in front of the lake were untrimmed and overgrown. The entire property needs a major overhaul. Lots of noisy construction going on around our unit. The coffee at the Lighthouse cafe was expensive and terrible tasting. I threw it out! Needless to say were were very disappointed and will never return to the Grand Vista"
